Western Plains Windows & Glass didn’t just pop up overnight! We kicked things off right here in Dubbo back over two decades ago. It all began with a small, dedicated crew of five local folks who believed in top-notch work and honest, reliable service that you could really count on – the kind of service that keeps a country town going.
As Dubbo has grown and changed over these past two decades, so have we. That little team is now over 35 strong, all skilled local tradespeople who know the area like the back of their hands. We’ve proudly worked on countless homes and businesses across the Central West, from speedy glass replacement jobs after a classic Dubbo hailstorm to fitting out entire new commercial buildings with smart, durable glazing. We’ve helped a local artist frame those vast Central West plains with a huge, seamless fixed glass panel for her studio, turning her workspace into a living landscape. Then there was the challenge from a respected local builder restoring a grand old homestead near Wellington – he needed custom timber doors and windows to perfectly match century-old details.
Our Dubbo joinery team meticulously handcrafted each piece, blending timeless techniques with modern strength. And it’s not only big projects; a vibrant new cafe in a busy Dubbo laneway chose a colourful glass splashback for their service counter. For this fit-out, they even had us sort their commercial shopfront with sleek aluminium doors and windows and some smart shower screens for the staff.
